Induction Training Programme for Newly Recruited Medical Officers under Department of Public Health and Family Welfare, Government of Madhya Pradesh, 14-25 July 2014



The Department of Public Health and Family Welfare, Government of Madhya Pradesh approached the Institute of Health Management Research, Jaipur-a WHO Collaborating centre for district health system based on primary health care- to conduct the Induction Training Programme for newly recruited medical officers under the department . In response to this, the Institute of Health Management Research, Jaipur developed and conducted this training programme. The programme enabled the participants to discuss current and future challenges in a setting that provides a rare and unique opportunity to interact with subject experts. The overall aim of the Induction Training Programme was to improve the participants understanding on health systems and various programmes being implemented. In all, 17 newly recruited medical officer were training under the programme. The course was coordinated by Dr. P.R. Sodani.
