The Institute of
Health Management Research, Jaipur in collaboration with Eli Lilly and Company
India Pvt. Ltd initiated an effort to sensitize the policy makers and senior
administrators to better understand the applications of health economics in
decision making, by organizing Workshop
on Health Economics for Policy Makers and Managers in India. The workshops
were organized at New Delhi on 10th March 2014 and Chennai on 12th
March 2014. The workshop was attended by more than
50 policy makers and senior administrators. International key speakers from
Australia and India were involved in delivering the sessions in the workshop. Dr.
P.R. Sodani, Dean (Training) coordinated the workshop.
