Quality Management and Patient Safety are some of the primary and quick growing concerns of the present Health sector at both national and international level. Realizing the immense demand for the same, a management development programme on this issue was organized at IIHMR, Jaipur from January 27th to January 31st, 2014. The objective of the programme was to develop an understanding of the concepts of quality and to develop essential skills in the assessment and measurement of it.
In all, 11 participants were there in the programme from Ministry of Public Health, Kabul University, General Directorate of Pharmaceutical Affairs Afghanistan and NRHM Kerala (India). The format and the concepts of the MDP was much appreciated by all its participants.
