Prof. Sharu Rangnekar, an eminent management scientist and author of several popular works of management was at Institute of Health Management Research, Jaipur to deliver a lecture on 3rd February 2014. Prof Rangnekar is a well known public speaker on various areas of management. He has also produced Audio-Videos on select management areas. He has written several books. One of them is “Learn Management through Your Wife”
The focus of his talk at the Institute was organizational management with Ego and Envy being the primary concerns. He was of the opinion that ego and envy are though unavoidable yet controllable; hence for the proper functioning of any Institution they must be kept under reign. He also laid immense stress on the requirement of able Leadership and gave several examples of management skills from the daily life of a normal household.
