Regional Training of State Level Master Trainers (SLMTs) on Revised Management Information System in Integrated Child Development Scheme at IIHMR Jaipur from January 9th to 11th


  • A Regional Training of State Level Master Trainers (SLMTs) on Revised Management Information System (MIS) in Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) was conducted at IIHMR Jaipur from 9th – 11th January 2013. The training was organized by Ministry of Women & Child Development; Govt. of India with support of Technical Assistance Agency, IDA assisted ICDS System Strengthening & Nutrition Improvement Project (ISSNIP). The participating states included Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, J & K, Uttar Pradesh and Chandigarh. 

  • An extensive revision of the Management Information System (MIS) in ICDS Programme, particularly the registers and reports used at the Anganwadi Centre (AWC) and block levels was undertaken by the Government of India. These have since been finalized and are now ready for roll-out across the country. The current training was the last in series of four conducted across the country with the objective of creating state level master trainers to impart the training on new MIS in their respective states to execute the roll out.
