The Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR), Jaipur, India, a premier institute in the field of Health Management Education, Research and Training, announces admission to Postgraduate Programme in Hospital and Health Management (MBA equivalent) for Non-Resident Indians for the academic session 2012-2014.

IIHMR Jaipur, (India) is a WHO Collaborating Centre for District Health Systems based on Primary Health Care. It has technical collaboration with The Johns Hopkins University, USA and several universities in SEAR countries. These tie-ups provide an excellent opportunity for international experience and assignments.  The Institute has world class hostels, IT Centre, a library, and recreation facilities.

It is a two-year full-time program offering specializations in the following streams:
HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT     HEALTH MANAGEMENT       
The program prepares students for exciting careers in corporate hospitals and in international, bilateral and national health care organizations.

NRI:"NRI" in this context means Non-Resident Indian as defined in Income Tax Act, 1961 with the following clarifications: An individual is Non-Resident when he is "not a resident" or who is "not ordinarily resident". A person is treated as "not ordinarily resident" when any of the following conditions is satisfied:
If he/she has not been resident in India in nine out of ten preceding years; or
If he/she has not been in India for a period of 730 days or more during the preceding seven years.

Eligibility: Graduates with excellent academic record and proficiency in English, both oral and written, are eligible. Health care professionals and working executives in the health sector will be preferred.


Candidates are required to fill in the IIHMR application form for admission available at the Institute on payment of US $ 50.00 in cash or through demand draft in favour of “Institute of Health Management Research" payable at Jaipur, India.
