The Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR) was founded in 1984 in Jaipur has made phenomenal contributions to both research and education in the area of Rural management, management of health services achieving a pride of place in rural management, planning and research at the national and international levels.
The institutes have successfully completed several research projects in the area of rural management and the learning acquired is being utilized in the teaching and training. Being a WHO Collaborating Centre and recognized as an Institute of Excellence, the Institute has been able to promote research in policy development and program evaluation.
This program aims at preparing professionals for a challenging career in managerial positions in the rural management for public, private sectors, NGOs, and national and multinational organizations.
This Course is designed broadly to enable students to:
§ Understand the concepts and techniques of modern management and their application in rural management.
§ Develop skills in diagnosing and solving management problems in rural management;
§ Develop skills in planning, building and managing organizations in rural areas and
§ Develop consultancy skills in rural management.
The course is structured to build knowledge, develop skills and provide exposure to real work situations in rural management. Special emphasis is placed on practical training. The program would aim at cultivating multi-disciplinary skills of systems, management principles and communication, which are important for the rural areas
The Institute has announced admission to AICTE approved Postgraduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM)
The graduates in management, medicine, nursing, ISM, economics, commerce, science, rural development, social and behavioral sciences, agriculture, social work and other relevant areas with 50% marks in the aggregate in the bachelor’s degree exam from a recognized university and the Students should have taken any one of the MATs conducted by AIMA on September, December 2010 and February and May 2011.The Student with composite MAT score of 400 or minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience in the rural/development sector are eligible to apply.

Guys the Admissions in KSRM (KIIT School of Rural Management) for MBA in Rural Management & Agribusiness program will be through written examination conducted by IRMA.
ReplyDeleteThe scores of IRMA will be used for short-listing of the candidates for admission to MBA (RM) and MBA (Agribusiness) program of KSRM.
The IRMA exam is scheduled to be held on 13th November, 2011.
