The STRIPE consortium is comprised of Johns Hopkins University, and seven research/academic institutions around the world selected to represent different epidemiologic profiles of the poliovirus (i.e., endemic). These institutions are based in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, the DRC, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, and Nigeria. Each consortium partner is led by a team of investigators supported by in-country faculty, staff, students, and advisors.

#Dr. S.D. Gupta, Trustee Secretary, Indian Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR), India, and Chairman and Distinguished Professor, IIHMR University, is the STRIPE Principal Investigator for India.  Dr. Gupta leads the project and oversees the collaborative relationships.

#Dr. Piyusha Majumdar, Assistant Professor, IIHMR University, is the STRIPE Co-Principal Investigator for India. As Co-PI, she leads the STRIPE project's qualitative research and works collaboratively with other country partners to contribute towards knowledge synthesis.

#STRIPE is a research collaboration across eight global institutions. We aim to map, synthesize, and disseminate lessons learned from the global polio eradication initiative to help advance population health in remaining polio-endemic and at-risk countries and facilitate the effective implementation of future health programs and health systems strengthening activities globally.
