Students of JHSPH/IIHMR MPH cohort-1 Visit Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health

Students of JHSPH/IIHMR MPH cohort-1 along with two of the faculty members Dr. Tanjul Saxena and Dr. Monika Choudhary, are attending the orientation of Master of Public Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Baltimore, USA from January 2nd till January 20th, 2014. Upon reaching there, the students were welcomed by Dr. Michael J. Klag, MD, MPH, the Dean of JHSPH. The students are attending the programme with other students of the department of International Health at JHSPH.

The primary purpose of the visit of the students of IIHMR to Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health is to attend a course of 4 credit points in the domain of Problem Solving in Public Health. The sessions for the same have been arranged for the students.

Health Management Institute at Jaipur wins rave reviews at Spardha-2013: Dr. Ratika Sharma Wins first position at the National level



  • IIHMR, Jaipur once again during the year, stood tall with one of its students, Dr. Ratika Sharma, having bagged the First Position at Spardha-2013, a National Level Summer Training Presentation Competition held At IRM(FMS), Jaipur on November 16th, 2013.
  • The competition was fairly high in level and had five different categories of Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, Agro-Business and Rural-Health. A total of 38 entries were received in the category of Rural-Health and six made it to the finals. Among the competitors, Dr. Ratika stood first and received INR 14000/- as cash reward along with a trophy and a certificate of appreciation.
  • Her Topic was: Knowledge, Attitude, Practice (KAP) - Study of Family Planning in Aligarh District (UP).
