MANTHAN 2015: ‘All India Online Essay Contest’

The essay contest is organized by The IIHMR University, Jaipur with an objective to harness the energy, imagination and creativity of the budding graduates in developing an in depth understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and exploring new career avenues in the field of pharmaceutical management. 

REWARDS;

FIRST PRIZE: Rs 5000/-

TOPICS (Write on ANY ONE topic):-

1. Pharmaceutical Management- A futuristic approach towards professional career building in the pharmaceutical industry
2.  Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Pharmaceutical Sector
3.  Strategic Management in Pharmaceutical Industry

ELIGIBILITY:-

1.  Final and third year students of B.Pharm
2.  4th and 5th year students of Pharm D
3.  Final year Science graduates, including Biotechnology

PROCESS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ESSAY CONTEST 

STEP 1

Submission of registration form (Deadline February 28, 2015)

Submit the registration form to saurabh@iihmr.edu.in in the format as given below:-

On receiving the registration form a code number as IIHMR-01 or IIHMR-17 or IIHMR-Any other number, will be sent to you through email. Mention the code number when you send the complete essay.

 STEP 2

 Submission of the complete essay

(Submit at saurabh@iihmr.edu.in)

GUIDELINES

1. Mention the following on the complete essay
• Topic of the essay:
• Name of the participant:
• Name of the Institute:
• Code number provided to you while submitting the registration form.
2.  The essay should be written in English
3.  Only individual entries will be accepted. Co-authorship is not permitted
4.  The word limit for the essay is 1500-2000 words
5. Individual entries to be submitted ONLY IN SOFT COPY via email at saurabh@iihmr.edu.in
6.  The essay should be written in MS word file (doc.docx)
7.  Font size-Times New Roman, Font size 12, Spacing 1.5
8.  Verbatim of the internet sources or from the journals on the mentioned topic may not be repeated. Only original work will be appreciated.
9.  References to be mentioned at the end of the essay
10.  Last date of submission of the complete essay is March 25, 2015
11.  Certificate of participation will be issued to only those candidates who submit the complete essay essay should be written in English.

The 25 best entries will receive the hard copy of the ‘Certificate of Excellence’. The certificates will be sent by post to the mailing address mentioned in the registration form. Others will receive the soft copy of the ‘certificate of Participation’ by e-mail. 

EVALUATION CRITERIA

The evaluation of the essay will be done based on the following criteria’s

•  Originality
•  Relevance to the topic
•  Adherence to the guidelines mentioned in the information brochure
•  All the rules and regulations come under the jurisdiction of The IIHMR University and the decision taken by The IIHMR University, Jaipur will be final.

Declaration of the result:-

The result of the contest will be declared on 20th April 2015 on the IIHMR University website.
