The IIHMR University has been established by Government of Rajasthan vide the IIHMR University Ordinance, 2013 (Ordinance No 30 of 2013) promulgated on September 27,2013 by the Governor which was replaced by the IIHMR University Act, 2014 (Act No.3, of 2014) passed by the State Legislature on February 07, 2014. The Act of 2014 received the assent of the Governor on 25th day of February, 2014 and was finally notified in Rajasthan Gazette Extraordinary on February 26,2014.
Kermack - Kendrick model (S-I-R) reads like nuclear fission modelling which could go critical (epidemic) or sub-critical (plateau or taper off)! Very interesting and impressive. Wish I was more involved in science than merely replicating efficient processes to make my bread. When are we introducing more intense Health programmes at IIHMR leading to MS/MSc/PhD.
